Google Sheet Integration

You can use data from your Google Sheets as a source for your automated reports and dashboards in Datarails. 

Note: All comments are removed from the file before upload

Set-up

Follow these steps to bring data from your Google Sheets into Datarails:

Note: You can paste the link to your Google Sheet here or simply select it from the drop-down menu that appears when you select "File Name" and click in the box. 

You will see the data from your Google Sheet appear on the version tab. From here, you can map it to your database like any other data source.

Note: We recommend spliting files bigger then 10MB to multipale smaller files but if needed - make sure to toggle on the Large files (+10MB) in the settings tab under the data-connection section in the sync query line. This integrations method is NOT recommended as its much slower and should be used as a last alterneative.

Sync incremental data only

Datarails can be configured to synchronize data from Google Sheet only when changes are detected in the source file. This reduces the size of your database and optimizes performance. You can turn this feature on by making the following selection under Filebox Settings:
