  4. When you’re satisfied with the layout, click the Edit icon, then Save Dashboard Layout.

    Dashboard Color Palette

If you have Admin rights, it's easy to give your dashboard a look and feel that fits your organization. If you are a dashboard owner, you can control the dashboard and widget colors. Getting the right colors for visualizations is a key part of getting your message across successfully.

Our color palette feature gives you the flexibility to apply your organization's colors globally across all dashboards and visuals. We recognize that one size doesn't always fit all, so this feature allows you to make local changes to dashboards, and even to individual widgets.

    1. From Workspace go to Admin>Organization. From the 3 dots icon select Edit Organization Palette. From here you can add, edit, or delete a color palette. You can also set a default color palette that will apply to all dashboards.
    2. Name the color palette.

    3. Edit the colors using hex codes and click Save Color Palette.

    1. To restore the DataRails default, click Reset to Datarails Default Palette.
    2. When you click Reset to Datarails Default Palette, all dashboards using the default will revert to the Datarails default color palette.

    Edit Dashboard Colors

    1. Only Dashboard owners can change dashboard colors.
    2. From Workspace go to Dashboard> Edit > Edit Dashboard Colors.

Edit or Delete a Color Palettedashboard_-_widget_edit_colors.png

    • Only Admins can edit /delete an organization palette.
    • Dashboard owners can switch between dashboard palettes, but they can't edit or delete them.
    • If a palette is deleted, the default organization palette will be used.
