Filebox Archive/Unarchive

When you archive a Filebox, you move it from the active Workspace to a separate storage area, helping to maintain a tidy and efficient data environment.

Only Filebox owners can archive Fileboxes.
Only Admins can unarchive Fileboxes.
Only Filebox owners can archive and unarchive Filebox versions.

Archive a Filebox

  1. Navigate to the Workspace and select the relevant Filebox.
  2. Click on the three dots ellipsis icon.
  3. When prompted, select 'Archive'.
  4. Confirm the action by clicking 'Yes'.
  5. A pop-up confirmation message will be displayed.

Archive a Filebox version

  1. Navigate to the Filebox and select the relevant Filebox version.
  2. Click on the three dots ellipsis icon.
  3. When prompted, select 'Archive'.
  4. Confirm the action by clicking 'Yes'.
  5. versions will no longer appear in the Filebox.

Archive multiple Filebox versions

  1. Navigate to the Filebox and select the relevant Filebox versions.
  2. Select all versions by ticking the checkbox icon next to each. 
  3. Once selected, an 'Archive files' icon will become visible on the top right.
  4. To archive the selected Filebox versions, click on the 'Archive files' icon. 
  5. Archived versions will be greyed out and no longer appear in the Filebox.

In multiple selection Archive, Archiving Latest version is not permitted

Unarchive a Filebox

  1. Navigate to Admin Section > Fileboxes.
  2. Click on the Filter Icon, change selection to 'Yes' and Apply.
  3. select the relevant Filebox.
  4. Click on the three dots ellipsis icon.
  5. When prompted, select 'Unarchive'.
  6. Confirm the action by clicking 'Yes'.
  7. Filebox will be Unarchived. 

Unarchive a Filebox version 

  1. Navigate to the Filebox.
  2. Click on the Filter icon.
  3. Click on 'Show archived versions' and Apply. 
  4. Archived versions will appear greyed out.
  5. Select the relevant Filebox version to unarchive. 
  6. Click on the three dots ellipsis icon.
  7. When prompted, select 'Unarchive'.
  8. Confirm the action by clicking 'Yes'.
  9. Filebox Version will be Unarchived.
