Supported Features

When using the Published Range feature, it is crucial to know which elements are supported and which are not. The following guidelines will help you navigate this feature effectively:

Supported

  • Excel Built-in Cell Formatting: Only built-in cell formatting is supported, including standard formats like date, currency, percentage, and general number formats. Custom formatting is not supported.
  • Standard Excel Functions: A curated list of Excel functions is supported when using the Published Range feature. Refer to the Supported functions list.
  • Supported Fonts: The following fonts are supported to ensure consistent rendering in the web application:
    • Agency
    • Arial
    • Calibri
    • Cambria
    • David
    • Gara
    • Poppins
    • Roboto
    • Rock
    • Tahoma
    • Times
    • Verdana

Unsupported

  • Merged Cells: Merged cells are not supported. Ensure that the selected range does not include any merged cells.
  • Cells with “Wrap Text” Option Enabled: The “Wrap Text” option is not supported. Before publishing, ensure that this feature is disabled for all cells within the range.
  • Custom Formatting: Custom formatting options are not supported. Please stick to Excel’s built-in formats to avoid any display issues.

  • Prepare Your Range: Before publishing, double-check that your range adheres to the supported guidelines to ensure smooth display.
  • Use Supported Fonts: Stick to the approved fonts list to maintain the best visual consistency across the web dashboard.
