This article explains the initial set-up of your Xero integration with Datarails. If you need to add a second entity, please refer to our separate instructions.

Datarails’ integration solution enables you to consolidate all your data sources and seamlessly connect external apps, like Xero, to the Datarails web app. You can use this integration to automatically import data from Xero into Datarails Fileboxes and create reports such as Cash Flow, Profit and Loss, and Trial Balance.

Data is transferred only from Xero to Datarails. Datarails does not write or modify any data in Xero.

You need full admin access to Xero with privileges to allow access for new integration connections. 

Integration Steps

1. Navigate to the Entities section in under Configuration.

2. Click 'Add new entity',

3. Choose Xero and Click 'Next'. 

4. Xero Login page will open. 
5. Enter the correct credentials and Login.
