Sync Schedules and Periods in the Connect Add-in

The Connect add-in allows users to sync data from their data systems (ERP, CRM, etc.) into their reporting environment.
In addition to manual syncing, it now supports configuring recurring sync schedules and custom sync periods, giving users more control over when and how data is synced.

To access sync settings

  1. Open the Connect add-in.
  2. Click the Sync icon.
  3. Select the data table you wish to configure, sync settings are managed individually for each table.

The Sync Settings modal includes controls for:

Sync Period

Defines what data range will be included in a sync. Options include:

  • Current month
  • Previous month
  • Custom date range

Recurring Sync Schedule

Allows configuring automated ongoing syncs. Users can:

  • Select a frequency: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly or Custom using crontab.
  • Set the time of day the sync should occur.
  • Save schedule settings.

Once saved:

  • The data syncs automatically based on the defined schedule.
  • Users can return to this modal at any time to update or remove the schedule.

Running a Manual Sync

To sync immediately without affecting the recurring schedule:

  1. Choose the desired sync period.
  2. Click Sync Now.

This triggers a single manual sync using the chosen period.
