To save time and maintain consistency during month-end close, Admins can copy members and due dates from a previous month to the current one.
This allows you to quickly reuse existing assignments while keeping due dates aligned to each month’s close date.
How to access Copy Members & Due Dates
You can access the copy functionality in two ways:
From the Reconciliation screen
On the main Reconciliation screen, click the Copy members & due dates icon.
This opens the Copy Members & Due Dates modal, where you can configure what to copy.
From an automatic prompt
If no members or due dates are defined for the current month and you click on a member or due date field, a prompt appears suggesting you copy assignments from another month.
Click Import to open the copy modal.
Click Not now to dismiss the prompt for the current month.
After your first interaction with the feature, this prompt will not appear again.
Using the Copy Members & Due Dates modal
In the copy modal, you can control exactly what gets copied:
Choose whether to copy:
Members and due dates
Members only
Due dates only
Select the source month to copy from.
Select one or more entities.
The copy will apply to the current month you are viewing.
Important: How multi-entity copying works
When selecting multiple entities, the copy is performed within each entity separately:
Assignments are copied from the selected month to the current month within the same entity.
Assignments do not move between entities.
Each entity uses its own data and structure when copying.
This ensures assignments remain accurate and aligned with each entity’s close process.
What happens during the copy process
Before copying begins, the system checks whether members or due dates already exist in the current month:
If assignments already exist, you’ll be asked whether to:
Override existing assignments, or
Keep them and skip copying for those specific accounts
If no assignments exist, the copy continues automatically.
Additional behavior to note:
Members and due dates are copied only to unassigned accounts, unless you choose to override.
Due dates are copied relatively, not as fixed calendar dates.
For example, “3 days before close” is recalculated based on the current month’s close date.If the current month does not have a close date defined, you’ll be prompted to set one before continuing.
You can cancel the operation at any time before confirming.
Handling missing or unmatched accounts
Assignments are copied only where matching account data exists.
If some accounts exist in the current month but do not exist in the selected source month, those accounts will not receive members or due dates. You’ll be informed which accounts were skipped due to missing data.
You can then quickly filter the Reconciliation screen to focus on accounts that did not receive assignments.
Note: Deactivated users will not be copied from month to month during this process
Who can use this?
This functionality is available to Admins and Super Admins only.
Summary
Copy members & due dates helps you:
Eliminate repetitive setup each month
Keep responsibilities consistent across close cycles
Maintain flexible due dates that automatically adapt to each month’s close date
Confidently manage assignments across multiple entities — without cross-entity impact
