This article shows you how to synchronize multiple versions of files in a folder, with multiple date tags as part of integrations.
Bulk Synchronize Files with Multiple Date Tags
As part of integrations, you can select Fileboxes (FB) with one or more date tags. For example, you might select a year and then multiple month date tags in that year.
When the dropdown is closed, you only see the 'parent' tag. In this example, the parent is the year 2022. On hover, you'll see the 'children'.
- Go to Filebox > Settings.
- A screen opens. Select the FBs and date tags as needed.
- Click Sync Now.
Sync Current and Previous Date Tag
Users often want to get the data for the previous time dimension from their ERP system. For example, if on March 5, 2022, I want to get the data relevant to February 2022, with no offset, the scheduled sync will always import the current month from the ERP system (meaning, March 2022 in our example).
Users with integration on a FileBox can now sync more than one file with the time interval settings.
Admins will have two options:
- Sync current [date tag] and x previous [date tag].
- Sync current and [x] previous periods. For example, Sync current and [3] previous [months]. In March, March, February, January, and December files will be imported.
