Occasionally you may encounter issues when trying to log in to Datarails. Please see below for solutions to common log in issues.
Error 503, 500, Stuck in Login Loop
Problem
You receive one of the following errors:

— | The screen is doing login/logout in the loop |
Solution
It is recommended to clear your cache. This can be done one of two ways.
Via the Excel Add-in
- Go to the Datarails tab of the Excel ribbon
- Navigate to Help.
- Then hover over Advanced.
- Then click on Clear App Cache.
Via the Datarails app
- Go to the Datarails icon in the notification area (system tray).
- Right click, then Settings.
- In the window that appears, click the blue, Show Advance Options button.
- Then click Clear Cache.
"Could not finish login process."
Problem
You receive the following error message:
- "Could not finish login process"
- "connect ECONNREFUSED 127.0.0.1"
Solution
This error message is an indication of a Localhost Refused to Connect Error. This could mean your computer is not connecting to the Datarails Add-in properly to the internet because of internal IT settings\DNS issue\etc. It is recommended that you contact your internal IT support within you organization how best to solve it.
