Extract Data from Datarails using ODATA

It is possible to query Datarails tables and pull the data using ODATA protocol. In this tutorial we will show how to pull data from Datarails to excel.

Prerequisites

A Datarails Contributor user.

Getting Started

1. Open Excel
2. Click on the Get Data menu, then From other resources, then From OData Feed

3. Copy and paste the following address into your browser's URL field: https://app.datarails.com/OData.svc/V2

4. Enter the user and password of the Contributor.

The list of tables will appear for loading:

For each table you can receive data.

Choose “cleared” version to get only the columns that are visible in the filebox.
