3.4.1 Dashboards Exercise #1

  1. Access the Datarails Exercise Environment (follow steps 1-3 from the instructions linked here)
  2. Click on Dashboards in the top navigation or in the side bar.2023-01-19_09h15_46.png
  3. Create a Combo chart that shows "Other Expense", "Cost of Good sold", and "Operating Expense" as columns and "Net Income" as an Area Chart. Aggregate by year, so that your chart shows 2021 and 2022. Name it "Dashboard Exercise 1"

Note: While editing the widget, you may see a screen with the message "There is too much data. Please edit the widget." You'll see this notification when you selected more rows or columns than can reasonably be shown in a widget. Simply narrow your selection down and the visual will appear.

  1. The resulting widget should look like this:2023-01-20_16h07_10.png
